This one is coming kind of late tonight. It was a long day. Had to get a new computer and train clients all day. I also did some heavy front squats, incline DB bench presses, supinated cable rows, and glute ham raises.
Today (really tonight) I want to talk about taking your shirt off and how empowering it can be. Just look at Ms. Biel (until we meet) to the left. Jessica worked her ass off for a strong firm body. Something most women strive for but never achieve because they spend hours on the treadmill instead of lifting some heavy shit. Jessica Biel has no shame in taking her shirt off. She knows that guys around the world will be enamored with her beauty.
As I have been going through this transformation I have discovered that I have been sleeping shirtless. Doesn’t sound like a big deal does it? But it is, I am just becoming more comfortable with my body. being able to achieve this will make all of the hungry hours and sweat soaked t-shirts worth it.
So, I ask you, can you take your shirt off?

I could.
Now, not so much.
But, again, soon. I promise.
Great post, Kevin.
I know what you mean about women need to lift heavy. I constantly try to get my clients to understand that. It takes a little time, but once they commit to it and see the awesome changes that occur, they never want to step foot on an elliptical or treadmill again.
Lifting weights builds a better body. Period.
To answer your question: I lift heavy weights and eat smart, so, yes, I can take my shirt off. Ha!
Keep up the good work!!!
Yes, I can, and with current temperatures in the gym, I often want to right then and there. But I don’t want to distract the others with my hotness.
What kind of computer did you get? Is it gameworthy?
I’m sorry I lost my ability to focus on your post when I saw that stunning photo of Jessica Biel. Holy crap!
Sadly I’m totally okay taking off my shirt…but that’s because when you’re a fat guy you either have to hide from it or embrace it, and I chose the latter.
But I’m actually trying to hide myself from people these days, not really talking to my accessory friends about working out and such. I’ll let them keep thinking of me as the fat kid…until one day they think of me as the guy that could deadlift their car out of a ditch…

Happily – Yes!
I’ve been a cardio queen an endurance junkie, but I never saw results like the ones I’ve experienced since cutting out ab work and focusing on my deadlifts.
Oh, and weighing my food!
