Let’s Finish This: Day 1 (really Day 99)

Alright folks. Here we go. Four weeks left. I had about 2-3 weeks off the large deficit to let my energy levels and sanity return to normal. I am going back to the original full body workouts that I designed  and same calorie restrictions Leigh Peele put together on Day  1.

Today I will be starting with a heavy DB bench, I think it is 5×5 or 6×4. At the end of the program I was putting up 110lb DBs. Will be interesting to see what happens today.

That is all for today, the picture on the left is just there because I got a case of the stuff on Friday. I am going to need it.

  1. Ok Kevin,

I AM dying to know what your favs are with PB2.
I have both choc/and pb regular, but keep using for basically shakes.
PLEASE give me some low calorie ideas!!!!! I am obsessed with peanut butter….NO REALLY i am..
    I may need an intervention.

    Thanks man!

PS. Love the fitcast and of course I love Leigh! and she knows that.. :)

  2. Will A. Carpenter says:

I mostly use PB2 for shakes, but I also have used it a time or two to make a peanut dressing or some beef satay (I think that’s what it’s called..) it’s beef and scallions in a spicy thai peanut sauce.

I just got my third case of the stuff and I hadn’t had any in a while, because I wasn’t doing many shakes…and I missed it so much that my first jar was gone REALLY FAST. I made a new recipe for my shakes involving some of the milk protein for my post workout/bedtime shake, since I work overnights, workout in the morning, and then go to sleep an hour or two later.
