Warp Speed Fat-Loss (Day 2)

Posted on 24 September 2008

By: Kevin Larrabee

It is 8am, and I am two days into Warp Speed Fat-Loss.
Last night I weighed in at 203 lbs.  I hope to get down to 190 by the end of October. Danny (client at CP) and I took before pictures (to be posted at the completion of the month) to track our results. We did not do BF% since I didn’t feel like pulling out the formulas and I don’t really give a crap about it, I am more of a, “what you see is what you get” kind of guy.

Monday I just did some HIIT with suicide sprints on the track at CP and 70 yard sled pushed on the track (using 4, then 3 plates). Last night was the first weight-training workout. It took about 70 minutes to finish and by the end of the first superset I was drenched in sweat. Keep in mind that we made some changes to the program to make use of the equipment we have at CP. For example we used a glute-ham raise for one of the timed sets. I haven’t been so drenched in sweat since the first football practice of the season in high school.

About 13 hours after completing the first workout I feel OK. I am tired (slept 9 hours last night) but not too sore, except in my traps and glutes.

On Friday I will cover supplements. If you need to lose 15-20 lbs fast and safely I recommend checking out Warp Speed Fat-Loss asap!!!

Are all the workouts that long? How many times per week? My schedule is not as conducive to workouts that take more than one hour. I usually spend about 45 minutes in the gym/outside working out. Maybe that is why I can’t lose this last few BF % points…
Would you say this is more for guys or for either sex?

    Kevin,
I’m a huge fan of the show and blog since I found it about a month ago. I always listen to it on my long runs and find myself laughing out loud as I’m running.

I’m interested in doing the Warp Speed Fat Loss program. I am waiting to see a few post from you on it so I can learn a bit more. I am also competing in a Half Ironman in a week so I will start it after a nice rest and recovery period.

My question is: I am vegetarian and have been for 16 years (I’m 30 now). From what I have read, it seems that with WSFL the meals are laid out for you. Will this be an issue for me? I eat eggs, milk, and cheese. I do not eat tofu and tofu based products because of the phytoestrogen levels (advice from my doctor specifically for me). I do not eat fish however if I am able to get some fresh caught local fish here, I have been contemplating eating fish again.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I have always wanted to try some of Cosgrove’s stuff after reading NROL. Kevin, can you go into a little more depth when you are discussing your progress? I really am just wondering what the program requires as I don’t want to buy it and then realize I need to save up more money to get all the supplements. Would rather just get everything and go at it. Love the show; bring back the old intro music sometime!
